Welcome to Goa, India

So I flew from Shanghai to Delhi, connected to Mumbai (Bombay) and then to Goa. Would have been ok except the flight to Delhi got in at 3 am and the next one didn't go out til 10 am. yawn. When I finally got there, I was ready. My phone happily told me I was in Anjuna and even the cab driver stopped on the hour long ride from the airport to Anjuna to buy me a couple of coconuts to drink. Water view from the cab ride.

eeks, 7 hours coolin' yer heels at the airport... makes me tired just thinking of it.
what a nice man, the taxi driver... bet those coconuts tasted great.

so, how'd your phone tell you that you were in Anjuna? got some fancy GPS thingy on it?

So thanks for the reminder Donna. I forgot to post that picture of my phone which I just added. It does hae fancy GPS stuff in the phone but I have that turned off in order to move stealthily snakelife thru life. What it does constantly show is which mobile carrier is siezing the default cell coverage at the moment. Sometimes they are quite local and you can't get much more local than Anjuna Beach in the southern part of the Indian state of Goa.
